      Job Description

      WHAT YOU WILL DO:

      We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities; behavioral or medical complexities in our residential programs and/or community.

      As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support our persons served with activities that focus on increasing their independence. As a DSP, you will work with the person served to provide coaching, supervision, and role modeling life skills. The job may also include transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, /or and assistance with personal cares.

      Qualifications

      WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

      • Must be at least 18 years old
      • Prefer experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

      Dungarvin provides a variety of individually tailored services and supports under the Medicaid Home and Community Based Waiver. Additionally, we provide services in several small homes licensed as Intermediate Care Facilities/Mental Retardation (ICF/MR) in Indiana. Other services provided include day services, supported employment, case management, supported foster care, children’s services, respite care, host homes and supports for persons with traumatic brain injury and mental health needs in several states.
